Magpies over Pedernal
Do you ever find yourself yearning to take flight? I often do, and I have dreams where I soar through the skies. It's no wonder, then, that I have a passion for travel. The ability to book a flight and gain a completely new perspective, akin to that of a bird's eye view, is a privilege I deeply appreciate.
Currently, I find myself nestled in the verdant landscapes of Vermont for a couple of weeks, reveling in the lushness and moisture so different from the arid climate of Santa Fe. It's not a matter of better or worse, but rather a delightful contrast.
Much like the magpies depicted in my painting, I sense that I'm embarking on a fresh journey—one that necessitates flight to reach its destination. I envision my studio near a beach, perhaps in a quaint Spanish coastal town, and immersing myself there for a stretch of two or three months. I can't help but wonder how this change of scenery will influence and shape my artistic expression.
I've neglected this blog for a while now, but I'm eager to revive it.
Sweet dreams!
